All our locks operate on batteries, with regular use lasting 12-18 months. Once the battery gets to 10-15% it will notify you on entry and in the app that the battery is getting low.

Even if the Internet is down, you can still use your smart lock as normal, The Only thing you will not be able to access is the remote functions of the lock as this requires an internet connection.

All our locks come with two security keys and can be unlocked from outside using a physical key in an emergency.

Our locks are compatible with any single or standard double timber doors. With the exception of sliding doors. If you would like to send through a photo, we will be more than happy to advise.

Yes, where possible we would advise on a suitable smart lock that would cover over any existing holes.

As long as you are happy to organise someone to re-paint the door, for a set fee, We can fill all the existing holes in your door and sand and prep ready for painting. This is not an option on hardwood stained or varnished doors.

A G2 gateway or built in WIFI will be required to control your lock remotely from anywhere in the world using a WiFi connection, A Lock with built in WIFI uses the locks battery power supply where as a G2 Gateway plugs into the back of your WIFI router or any household power source via a USB cable and does not use any power from the lock. So long term a G2 Gateway will save on the lock AA Battery replacement costs, As batteries will need replacing less frequently.

There are three main types of smart locks we offer.

1. Lever Latch
   
   Lever Latch type smart locks are the most popular front door locks we install they work with a lever handle and a single latch without the extra built in high large security deadbolt
   
2. Lever latch with built in high security deadlock
   
   This all-in-one lock operates with a lever handle with both a latch mechanism and a large deadbolt, so when the door is pulled shut the latch locks the door immediately, for added security you have the option to lift the handle upwards to engage the security built in dead bolt function.
   
3. Smart - Dead lock
   
   This lock mechanism has a single bolt function that slides across mechanically to lock and unlock. The T11B Deadlocks have an adjustable automatic timer in the app.
   
   The T13 and T17 range work with a sensor that locks the deadbolt immediately when the door is shut. The deadbolts locks give you all the features of our smart locks - But they do require a separate lever latch with handle or a pull handle with a roller latch installed on the door. This is to hold the door in the correct position for the deadlock to slide back and forth and for you to use to open and close the door.
   
   This lock is perfect if you want to keep an existing door lever handle or knob set but want the functionality of a smart lock.
